We recently we had a talk with the founders of MOXX, a new company in the pocket wifi rental industry in France. We are delighted to see the MiFi rental industry grow and we took the opportunity to get to know the founders of Moxx, their plans and what makes them tick.

PLEASE TELL US WHAT IS THE “FOUNDING STORY” OF MOXX? WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO START THIS BUSINESS?

We decided to create MOXX in France after several years in traveling overseas. We were faced to the unfortunately usual question : Will I use my data roaming plan from my operator, how much it will cost me? is it easy to find safe wi-fi in ?

We tried lots of options from using those expensive (exorbitant I should say) roaming charges, to sim card switch with local sim cards and you know that’s a pain when you have several devices with you.
